Its doesnt matter in which category a person with food restriction resides it's always challenging for them to find suitable places to eat out. They often encountered frustration and inconvenience, sometimes even compromising their health and well-being due to limited options or a lack of information.
The Problem
Research Goals:

We want to learn the current goals, pain points, and expectations of people with food allergies or with family members that has it when they use an APP for dining out. So that we may understand what influences whether they use different food allergy Apps or our APP and trust it enough to choose DineWell for their dining out experience.

Backgroung
There are various dietary restrictions that individuals may follow for health, cultural, ethical, or religious reasons. While it's challenging to identify a definitive list of all of the dietary restrictions here are some commonly observed dietary restrictions: Vegetarianism, Veganism, Pescetarianism, Gluten-free, Lactose-free, Kosher, Paleo, Raw foodism.
Research Goal
We want to learn the current goals, pain points, and expectations of people with food allergies or with family members that has it when they use an APP for dining out. So that we may understand what influences whether they use differents food allergy Apps or our APP and trust it enough to choose DineWell for their dining out experience.
Methodologies

Comparative and competitive research to see what our competitors offer and at what price points.

User interviews to hear from users first hand their stories of how they use the service and what role it plays in their (work) lives.
Competitive Analysis
We researched and analyzed competitor companies to understand their streghts, weaknesses, and differentiation strategies. This analysis helped us identify areas of improvement and opportunities for DineWell App

We conducted in-depth interviews with potential customers and users of DineWell App. Some of the interview questions included:

Some insights from our previous research included:

- I Like the feature of having the option of following people in the DineWell community. I will love to see what other people are eating and read about their recommendations.

- I found the user interface to be visually appealin and the navigation to be user-friendly.

To determine the success of the design, I asked 3 participants to conduct and usability test through DineWell App.








Key Takeawyas

- The iterative design process allowed for continuous improvement based on user feedback, resulting in a user-centered solution.
- Future improvements could include further personalization features, such as filter to find places base in diferents categories and a blog where every user can share information aboit their expriences
Conclusion
Through a combination of research methods, user interviews, and iterative design processes, we successfully created a End to end aplication.
