Research Goal
We want to learn the current goals, pain points, and expectations of visitors to CCS Cabinet Design's website. So that we understand what influences whether they contact the company and trust it enough to choose CCS for their dream space renovation.
Methodologies
-
Comparative and competitive research to see what our competitors offer and at what price points.
-
User interviews to hear from users first hand their stories of how they use the service and what role it plays in their (work) lives.
-
Survey
Competitive Analysis
We researched and analyzed competitor companies to understand their streghts, weaknesses, and differentiation strategies. This analysis helped us identify areas of improvement and opportunities for CCS Cabinet Design.

User Interviews
From all those interviews and surveys, a pattern started to emerge. People really wanted to know what they were getting into. They loooo clear, easy----understand info about what CCS could do and the love pictures1 before-and-after shots that screamed "transformation" were a big hit.
We conducted in-depth interviews with potential customers and users of renovation services. Some of the interview questions included:

- Why would you visit a renovation company's website?
- What influences your decision to contact a renovation company?
- What information is essential for you to decide if you want to work with a renovation company?
- How do you perceive trust towards a renovation company?

They craved clarity and simplicity, just as in a perfectly designed cabinet. And they loved a vivid show-and-tell, with before and after pictures providing a visual feast.

Some insights from our previous research included:

- Users value informative and comprehensive content about services and the renovation process.
- Before and after pictures should be well-labeled and provide a variety of options for easier comparison.
- Users prefer easy navigation and quick access to the information they need.
